Some Odd Girl August CHALLENGE!

August's Challenge at Some Odd Girl is all about layers.  Entering this challenge is super easy and you can see all the details on the blog.  Plus you have all month to enter, plenty of time to get your 'ODD' on.

This card was created using the digi images Surfer Kody and Beach Mae.  They make such a cute pair heading to the beach.  Coloring was done using Copic Markers.

Last one in is a rotten egg!

Kaylee Mermaid

I'm so glad I was able to share a mermaid with you each week in May.  Today I have a brand new digi stamp from Some Odd Girl to show you and, of course, it's a MERMAID.

This is Kaylee Mermaid colored with Spectrum Noir Aquablend pencils.  The background was made using Spectrum Noir Aqua Markers.  I love watercoloring with both the pencils and markers.  They were a good choice for coloring Kaylee Mermaid to give her a soft look.

Spectrum Noir Aquablend  Pencils used:
Straw, Canteloupe, Sorrel = Skin
Bright Green, Dandelion, Kiwi, Lagoon, Aqua, Aegean Blue, Papava = other

Spectrum Noir Aqua Markes used:
Peacock Blue, Aquamarine, Navy
